Shaped by Air
After creating the lightest helmet in the world, we have never stopped our development to push the envelope of safety and performance to its limits. In collaboration with the Astana Pro Cycling Team we explored the aerodynamic limitations at the wind tunnel in Magny Cours to take our research and development even further.
Improving Air Circulation
The transversal wings, thanks to the use of carbon, have a reduced thickness. This allows easy inflow and improved air circulation inside the shell resulting in great benefits to the aerodynamics and ventilation.
Smoothing the Air
The pyramidal surface of the longitudinal ribs reduces the impact pressure, cutting the air and allowing a smooth sliding.
The extended tail to the Air Pro decreases the resistance to the air allowing a gradual detachment and preventing turbulance.
We have exploited the unique properties of carbon, coupling them with eps, to realize a maximum resistance core with minimum thickness. Two structural wings merge with the side ribs of the shell, creating a highly performing cage in terms of safety, aerodynamics and ventilation.
The value of one second
Designed in Italy, the AIR PRO has been analyzed, tested and developed in collaboration with the Astana Pro Cycling Team while integrating the most innovating analyses systems with mathematical simulation data’s including the tests achieved in the Wind Tunnel. With AIR PRO you achieve a 20% increase in efficiency when compared to model Ultralight+. This enables you to earn up to one second every 10 km.
